Wiley University mourns the passing of Gwendolyn Wright, a valued member of the university community who served as an Area Coordinator in the Office of Residence Life and Housing.
Ms. Wright joined Wiley University in January 2017. Over more than nine years of service, she worked in several residence halls and most recently served in historic Dogan Hall.
Ms. Wright cared deeply for the students she served. For many, living on campus was their first experience away from home. She was a mentor and a steady presence who offered guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear. She celebrated students’ successes and stood beside them through difficult moments, helping make the residence halls feel more like home.
Wiley University is grateful for Ms. Wright’s years of service and the care she showed our students. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and worked alongside her.
The university extends its heartfelt condolences to Ms. Wright’s family, friends, colleagues, and the students whose lives she touched. We ask the community to keep all who are mourning her loss in their thoughts.
