Wiley Cares: A Roadmap to Student Success
At Wiley University, student success is at the heart of our mission. As part of our reaffirmation of accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), Wiley has launched its Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP): Wiley Cares – A Roadmap to Student Success.
What is the QEP?
The QEP is a five-year initiative that strengthens the Wiley experience by enhancing student retention, persistence, and holistic development. Wiley Cares builds on our tradition of academic excellence and community engagement, ensuring that students are fully prepared for leadership, service, and professional success.
Our Goals
Wiley Cares focuses on three core goals:
Retention Through Completion – Providing the support students need to persist and graduate.
Co-Curricular Experiences – Creating meaningful opportunities outside the classroom that reinforce leadership, civic engagement, and professional growth.
Post-Graduate Pathways – Equipping students with career readiness skills, service experience, and leadership development that prepare them for graduate school, employment, and lifelong success.
What Students Gain
Through Wiley Cares, students will:
Participate in leadership workshops, career readiness events, and service-learning projects.
Apply classroom knowledge to real-world contexts.
Strengthen skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Connect their Wiley education to professional and civic life.
Faculty & Staff Role
Faculty and staff are key partners in Wiley Cares, incorporating QEP activities into courses and co-curricular programming, mentoring students, and assessing outcomes. Together, the Wiley community ensures every student has access to the tools, experiences, and support needed for success.
