Aug 3, 2026

Dear Wiley University Community,

It is with deep sadness that we share news of the passing of Mr. Branden Kelly, recent graduate, former student athlete, and Administrative Coordinator for the Division of Academic Affairs. Mr. Kelly graduated from Wiley University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, concentration in Management. Upon graduation, he continued his education as a graduate student, and served Wiley University as a full time staff member, continuing his commitment to learning and growth within our university family.

Mr. Branden Kelly was known to many of us as a dedicated colleague and student, and an active member of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., Beta Chapter, where he served as chapter president in his senior year. His loss is deeply felt by his professors, classmates, colleagues, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts are with Mr. Kelly's family, friends, and all who are grieving this loss.

We understand this news may be difficult for many in our community. Grief support services are available for students, faculty, and staff:
