Wiley University is expanding access to career-focused education through its new Center for Workforce Development and Future of Work, offering free, fully online introductory courses designed to help learners explore in-demand career pathways and develop workforce-ready skills.
Beginning September 14, 2026, participants can enroll in introductory courses in:
Introduction to Cybersecurity
This course is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity but unsure where to begin. Participants will gain insight into the field, identify current skill gaps, and learn about the educational and professional pathways available within one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy.
Introduction to Human Resources
Human Resources continues to be a critical and expanding profession across industries. This introductory course provides an overview of the field and helps participants identify the key competencies and skills needed to succeed as an HR professional.
Previously released courses are also still available in Python Coding and Project Management.
The Workforce Development Initiative reflects Wiley University's commitment to providing accessible learning opportunities that empower individuals to build new skills, strengthen career readiness, and pursue meaningful employment opportunities.
