Wiley University Appoints Three New Board of Trustees Members

Marshall, TX - On November 2, 2023, Wiley College (now Wiley University) appointed three industry leaders to the Board of Trustees.
Ms. Kelley Cornish - President and CEO of the T.D. Jakes Foundation, Ms. Kendra Davis Briggs, Esq., - Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and Mr. Raymond T. Gilstrap - Engineering Servers and Services Group Lead, NASA Ames Research Center. With these three new appointments, the Wiley University Board of Trustees is comprised of 26 members.

Kelley Cornish, MA, CCDP - President and CEO of the T.D. Jakes Foundation. Ms. Cornish earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina-Aiken in Business Administration and a Masters from Webster University in Human Resources. Prior to her appointment as President and CEO of the T.D. Jakes Foundation, Ms. Cornish served in various executive roles, including Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer of Diverse Segments, Representation, and Inclusion for Wells Fargo & Company, Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for the TD Bank Group, and Diversity and Inclusion Lead for AmeriHealth Caritas and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Kendra Davis Briggs, Esq. - Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Judge Briggs earned her Associate of Arts degree from Florida A&M University, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Florida State University, and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to her appointment as Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, Judge Briggs served as an associate at the law firms of Parks & Crump, LLC and Shook, Hardy, & Bacon, LLP, and as an Assistant United States Attorney.
Raymond T. Gilstrap - Engineering Servers and Services Group Lead, NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Division. Mr. Gilstrap earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida A&M University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. Prior to his appointment as Engineering Servers and Services Group Lead, NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Division, Mr. Gilstrap served as a co-founder of the Safe Mathare Project, Chief Technology Officer, and Senior Multi-Disciplinary Engineer.
