Our Story
Wiley University is a privately supported historically Black college and university (HBCU) in Marshall, Texas, and one of the oldest historically Black colleges west of the Mississippi River. Through the iWiley Digital Learning Initiative, part of the university's Bold and Audacious Vision, Wiley has placed technology at the center of the learning experience. Every undergraduate student pursuing a degree, along with faculty, receives an iWiley technology bundle featuring iPad Air, Magic Keyboard Folio, and Apple Pencil. The initiative is designed to improve learning, integrate innovative learning styles, increase student completion rates, and reduce the digital divide.

Faculty across campus are reimagining what teaching can look like. Because instructors receive the same technology bundle as their students, they can build innovative, connected components directly into their instruction, transforming the classroom experience and extending learning beyond it.
