Join us for an unforgettable evening of hope, reflection, and celebration as Dr. Randy Moore—Wiley University alumnus and proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.—returns to campus to launch his debut book, In Each Other’s Shadows: A Hope for a Better Future.

This event is more than a book signing. It’s a story of second chances, resilience, and the power of community. Dr. Moore’s journey from the streets of Fort Worth to becoming an accomplished professional and published author is both deeply personal and universally inspiring. His return to Wiley is a homecoming rooted in gratitude, faith, and purpose.

About the Author

Dr. Randy Moore is a 2004 graduate of Wiley University. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, he overcame significant challenges through faith, mentorship, and education. Today, he lives in Marshall, Texas, and is a member of Full Gospel Holy Temple under the leadership of Bishop Larry Kiel Sr. In his book, he honors the Wiley faculty and mentors who helped shape his success, including Dr. Ernest Plata, Dr. Masenda, Dr. Claton, and Coach Watson.
