Homecoming 2025 – Back to the Yard: The Purple & White Experience
Wiley University | October 19–25, 2025
Before Homecoming Week begins, please review the important Public Safety announcements below to ensure a safe, fun, and organized experience for all students.
Entry Requirements
Students must present their official Homecoming Student Badge Pass, white wristband, and Wiley University Student ID to enter all Homecoming events.
Students who have registered for Spring 2026 may pick up their items in the lower level of the Student Union.
Clear Bag Policy
All bags are subject to search. This policy will be enforced at the Homecoming Student Concert, Step Show, and Homecoming Basketball Games.
Restrooms
Portable restrooms will be available outdoors near the Tailgate and main stage areas.
Directional signs will guide attendees.
Parking & Closures
Hodge Lot: Clear starting Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 8 AM; must be empty by Thursday at noon.
Thirkield & Dogan Lots: Reserved for student parking.
Strickland Lot: Jackson Hall residents should move vehicles here.
Smith–Nooks & Student Union Lots: Recommended for faculty and staff.
Baker Science Lot: Reserved for those who purchased official tailgate parking spots.
Alumni Tailgate Lot: Clears nightly at 8 PM; all vehicles must be removed by 9 PM.
Off-Street Parking
There will be no parking along Wiley Avenue or University Avenue within campus limits.
Cones and signage will mark restricted areas — please do not move them.
Outside Food & Drink
No outside food or drink is allowed at any Homecoming event.
Capacity Limits
Entry will close once event capacity is reached.
Re-entry is not guaranteed once capacity limits are met.
Wayfinding
Yard signs will be placed across campus to help you locate Homecoming events.
Accessibility Assistance
For accessible parking or golf-cart transportation, locate the nearest staff member or Campus Public Safety officer to request assistance.
A golf cart will be dispatched to your location as needed.
