
Terbrina I. Nelson, a senior biology major from Minden, Louisiana, was crowned Miss Wiley College 2018-2019 Sunday night in a coronation ceremony in the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel.
Wiley senior Terbrina I. Nelson is the newly crowned Miss Wiley College 2018-2019! Miss Nelson was crowned the College’s new queen during a coronation ceremony Sunday night in the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel, which was beautifully transformed to “The Wonderful World of Wiley” to reflect the night’s theme, “When You Wish.”
The new Miss Wiley is a native of Minden, Louisiana, where she graduated from Doyline High School in 2015. At Wiley, she is focused on earning a degree in biology. And while earning good grades is her top priority, Miss Wiley is also active in campus life and community service. During her reign, she will work to heighten awareness of mental health issues and the importance of self care and seeking help.
When she graduates from Wiley, Miss Nelson plans to attend dental school. She aspires to become an orthodontist.
Miss Wiley is the daughter of Andrea Martin and Terrence Nelson Sr., and the stepdaughter of Veronica Jenkins Nelson.
The Wiley College family is very proud of Miss Nelson and her accomplishments, and looks forward to supporting and encouraging her throughout her year of service as Miss Wiley College 2018-19.
