New First Time Wiley College Students

(includes first-years/sophomores/transfers):

Step 1: Final Transcript

Complete your admission application with your Final Official Transcript. Students must submit their Final Official Transcript in order to move into the residence hall or enroll for classes. Contact the Office of Admissions at (903) 927-3311 or admissions@wileyc.edu to confirm your status.

Step 2: Intent to Enroll

Complete the electronic Intent to Enroll

Step 3: Financial Aid

Complete the financial aid process by submitting your completed 21-22 FAFSA, and receiving your offer letter. If you have not received an Offer Letter but have completed your FAFSA this may mean you are missing a document and cannot be processed. Contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have not received your Offer Letter- finaid@wileyc.edu or (903) 742-4856.

Step 4: Payment Arrangements

If your financial aid does not fully cover the costs of tuition, room, board and fees you will need to make payment arrangements with the business office to cover costs. Contact the Office of Student Accounts at (903) 927-3207.

Step 5: Health Forms

All students must have documentation of childhood immunization. This includes the required Meningitis Vaccine in order to move in and attend classes. Students must submit their records to the Director of Health Services by emailing shcw@wileyc.edu. Contact Health Services at (903) 927-3260.

Step 6: Housing Request

Students who plan to live on campus for the fall 2021 semester, must submit a housing request form (https://mywiley.wileyc.edu/ICS/Admissions/Admissions.jnz?portlet=RL). Failure to submit a housing request may result in no college housing for the fall semester. For more information contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing at (903) 923-1632.

Returning/Current Students

Frequently Asked Questions

How to check-in and receive my housing keys when I arrive on campus

All students must report to the Thirkield parking lot when they arrive on campus to receive their Health Clearance (COVID-19 Screening, COVID Vaccination, and Meningitis Vaccination). After obtaining clearance they can proceed to the Alumni Gymnasium parking lot to complete their validation process.

What if I did not complete the clearance process?

Students are strongly encouraged to complete the process BEFORE they arrive. Follow your checklist to complete as much as you can, before you arrive. Failure to obtain clearance will result in your inability to move into your residence hall or begin classes in a timely manner.

Mask Requirements
COVID-19 Testing

All students are required to wear a mask in all common areas and classrooms, except for those students who produce documentation of their COVID-19 vaccination.

Students who provide documented proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination will be required to wear a special wristband that they will receive during the clearance from Health Services. Anyone without a wristband (vaccinated or not) must wear a mask at all times.

Note: Even those who are vaccinated, are strongly encouraged to wear a mask for additional protection.

Students who are not vaccinated are required to wear masks in all common areas and classrooms at all times.

Please be advised various faculty may have specific protocols required during their classes or office hours. For example, they may require social distancing and mask wearing even if you are vaccinated.

All students will be subject to mandatory random COVID-19 Testing. The Director of Health Services will send an email to persons selected for the random COVID-19 testing. Failure to comply can result in dismissal from Wiley College.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

How will Faculty/Staff be monitored for COVID-19 Precautions?

Faculty and Staff will be required to adhere to the same wristband and face mask wearing policies. Faculty and staff will participate in a Self-Check In Procedure through a confidential reporting experience.

What if I don’t have my Meningitis Vaccination?

Students can make arrangements with the following entities to
obtain the vaccination. Please note that some may require a cost or detailed documents:

The Harrison County Health Department will only service uninsured persons at this location. The student needs to bring an ID and a copy of their immunization record.

Health Care Express

$150.00 cost for meningitis vaccine.

Will accept insurance for meningitis vaccine.
