Wiley College is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Senior Financial Aid/Work-Study
Coordinator position. The Senior Financial Aid Counselor/Scholarship Coordinator is responsible
for the administration of Federal, State and local funds, counseling students and parents, and
serving as a liaison with public agencies. This position is also responsible for assisting the
student body in searching, applying for and obtaining external scholarships. This position will
work with internal departments and external organizations to secure scholarship funding for
students.
The qualified applicant will possess a bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is
preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of two successful years working in financial aid,
scholarship management, accounting or related work experience. The candidate must have the
ability to plan, organize, set and accomplish goals; analyze/evaluate data and make
appropriate recommendations. Candidate must also have proficient in use of various word
processing programs and other software; strong leadership skills; excellent oral and written
communication skills; and, demonstrated effective problem solving skills. Familiar with Student
Information Systems (ie. PowerFaids and Jenzabar).
