Wildcat Academy 2023

Wiley College Wildcat Academy, formally known as Summer Bridge, serves a diverse and global community for entering undergraduates in a six-week academic residential program.

The program introduces students to the structure and rigor of the College, provides them with opportunities to foster meaningful academic and social connections, and empowers them to take ownership of their academic journey.

Get ready for an energizing, engaging, and enriching summer experience that will place you ahead of the class!

Students will enroll in four, 3-credit hour courses in addition to mandatory daily study-skills mentoring and tutorial services. Students will also be assigned an Academic Advisor and Coach to ensure a successful transition to Wiley College.

Eligible students must:
Be accepted to Wiley College;
Be available to attend the entire Wildcat Academy Program;
Be a high school graduate having completed 16 Carnegie units;
Complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA application at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Wiley Code is 003699; and
Plan to enroll for Fall 2023 and graduate from Wiley College.

Upon Completion of Wildcat Academy, students will be able to:

Navigate the academic rigor and demands of Wiley College;
Attend to their intellectual, psychological, and physical well-being;
Develop proficiency in learning strategies required for lifelong success; and
Earn 12 credit hours in English, Math, History and Humanities.

Program Cost: $3,173.00 (Funded by Pell Grant and /or family support)
