2007 – 2008 Wiley College Academic Scholarships
The Presidential Scholarship-(Full Tuition/Fees/Room and Board)
This four-year scholarship is offered by selection entering freshmen who meet the following criteria:
- Current high school graduate
- Grade point average of 3.70
- Top ten percent of high school class
- 23 score or above on the American College Test (ACT) or 1070 above on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Renewal: Must maintain a 3.5 G.P.A. and remain in good standing with the College. Must enroll in at least fifteen (15) semester hours and pass twelve (12) semester hours per semester.
Amount: Up to the cost of tuition, books, fees and room and board.
The Dean Scholarship-(Full Tuition Only)
This four-year scholarship is offered by selection entering freshmen who meet the following criteria:
- Current high school graduate
- Grade point average of 3.5
- 21 score or above on the American College Test (ACT) or 990 above on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Renewal: Must maintain a 3.5 G.P.A. and remain in good standing with the College. Must enroll in at least fifteen (15) semester hours and pass twelve (12) semester hours per semester.
Amount: Current cost of tuition.
*Academic Merit-(Half of Tuition)
This four-year scholarship is offered by selection entering freshmen who meet the following criteria:
- Current high school graduate
- Grade point average of 3.0-3.4
- 18 score or above on the American College Test (ACT) or 870 above on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Renewal: Must maintain a 3.5 G.P.A. and remain in good standing with the College. Must enroll in at least fifteen (15) semester hours and pass twelve (12) semester hours per semester.
Amount: Half of current cost of tuition.
*Academic Honor
The honors academic scholars receive awards each regular freshmen who meet the following criteria:
- Current high school graduate
- Grade point average of 3.0-3.4
- 18 score or above on the American College Test (ACT) or 870 above on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Renewal: Must maintain a 3.5 G.P.A. and remain in good standing with the College. Must enroll in at least fifteen (15) semester hours and pass twelve (12) semester hours per semester.
Amount: $2,000 per academic year
NOTE: One (1) institutional scholarship from the appropriate categories will be reserved for eligible upperclassman applicants.
