Student Clubs and Organizations
There are a variety of special interest clubs and organizations available to students.
Student Government Association
The student body of the College is organized and represented by the Student Government Association (SGA). Its officers are elected by students, who in turn represent the student body.
The purpose of the SGA is to cooperate with administration and faculty on behalf of student life, serve as the agent of student body thought and opinion, assist with student activities, and promote College loyalty and devotion. The chief student body representative is the President of the Student Government Association.
The SGA is comprised of the Executive Council and the Class Officers.
The Student Government Association is located in the Student Center of the Fred T. Long Student Union Building. For more information contact the Office of Student Activities at 903-927-3261.
Student Union Advisory Board
The Student Union Advisory Board is established to provide students, faculty, and staff with activities, programs and services to be offered through the Fred T. Long Student Union or the 'U'. The SUAB represents the College community to ensure that the facilities, services, and amenities offered by the Student Union meet the needs and interests of their constituents.
The Student Union Advisory Board (SUAB) welcomes any interested student to become a member and/or representative.
