Our mission is to educate students and prepares them for leadership and service when they graduate. Wiley College is a four-year, liberal arts institution that was founded in 1873 by the Freedman’s Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Located in Marshall, Texas, we are a faith-based Community of Learners, where scholarship and service go hand-in-hand.

Marshall, Texas is a unique college town with a population of more than 24,000. You'll find that Marshall is small enough for you to focus on education, but large enough to offer art museums, festivals, shopping and great restaurants to discover. Marshall has an abundance of natural resources with recreational opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy fishing, camping and swimming at the Lake O’ the Pines. Students can also relax at Caddo Lake, one of two natural lakes in Texas.
