|
The Department of Music Education at Wiley College will present its Annual Christmas Concert featuring the A Cappella Choir on Monday, December 3, 2012, at 7 p.m. in the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel on the campus of Wiley College. Wiley’s Choir, which had the honor to sing at the White House in December 2011, will perform excerpts from Georg F. Handel’s “Messiah,” at Monday’s concert. The choir is just back from Irving, Texas, where it performed at the Fifth Annual UNCF Governor’s Luncheon before an audience that included Texas Governor Rick Perry. The concert will also feature performances by the students and faculty of the College’s Department of Music Education, including Mr. Anthony Robinson, who is the Assistant Director of the Marshall Symphony. The public is invited to come out for what will be a delightful holiday concert. For more information, please contact Tammy Taylor at (903) 927-3385.
