Diamonique Jackson, a member of the A Cappella Choir of Wiley College, is a featured performer in the 2013 “UNCF An Evening of the Stars,” which will air nationally Sunday, January 27 at 9 p.m. on Black Entertainment Television (BET) and numerous other TV networks.
Ms. Jackson traveled in December to Los Angeles, California, to take part in the taping of the show by singing a duet with Grammy-winning Gospel Music Artist Yolanda Adams. The United Negro College Fund and BET selected Ms. Jackson after an audition process that included four other Wiley students. Wiley was selected to participate in the telethon based on a determination by UNCF and BET that the College has an outstanding choir.
