AccuPlacer Placement Examination

Test scores are essential for academic advisement and development of course schedules. Any student who does not submit ACT/SAT, or THEA test scores is required to take the Accuplacer Placement Examination. Course schedules will not be created without proof of test scores.
It is imperative that we receive your test scores prior to your arrival. If we do not receive you test scores by prior to your scheduled mini-session, you will be required to take the Accuplacer Placement Examination.
*Placement test scores (ACT,SAT, THEA) are required for academic advisement and development of course schedules. Therefore, we request that you submit the test scores prior to your arrival in an effort of assisting us in providing quality service to you; the student. Failure to submit test scores, will result in the student being required to take the ACCUPLACER Placement Examination on the day of orientation.
The purpose of ACCUPLACER tests is to provide useful information about your academic skills in math, English, and reading. The results of the assessment, in conjunction with your academic background, goals, and interests, are used by academic advisors and counselors to determine your course selection.
