My ultimate goal in life is to build a Boys and Girls Club in  Port Arthur, give scholarships to high school seniors, and  become Mayor of Port Arthur. I’m fully committed to my studies at Wiley and I have earned some honors because of that commitment.   I am proud that I  earned  the Dean’s List Award as a freshman and sophomore here at Wiley. I have also received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for having a 3.5 GPA.  Because of my academic record, I am currently ranked one of the top 50 men at Wiley College.

When I am not busy studying, I am actively engaged in  campus live.   I am the treasurer of the Wiley College Business Management Club and I serve as  Vice President of the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society.

Although my schedule is often busy, I also make time to give back to the community.  I attend church every Sunday. My parents are the most influential people in my life. They taught me morals and values that only children of God could, such as how to pray, how to treat a lady, and how to go for what you want in life.

What I most admire about my parents is  their nonstop desire to encourage people to learn more about Jesus Christ. Even after my father had a stroke and was unable to return to work, he and my mom never let that get them down, and I truly admire them for that. The motto I live by each day is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

Thank you Wiley College for helping me persist to achieve my goals!
