Welcome to the Wiley College Athletics Site

The philosophy of the Athletics Department is that the most important tasks of student-athletes are to pursue personal growth through academics and team experiences, and to develop a sense of ethical responsibility that serves as an example for others. The department strives to maintain an outstanding athletics program and takes pride in being Champions of Character by promoting respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership, and sportsmanship. Wiley College and the Athletics Department believe that it is important to prepare you as future leaders through character-building activities that stress morality and ethics.

We recognize, however, that our primary commitment is to educate you, and to accomplish this, you are held to high standards; however, you are also provided the academic support you may need to successfully complete your educational goals. In other words, the Athletics Department encourages competition in the classroom and on the court.

Sincerely,

Janet P. Eaton
Director of Athletics
