Place the winning bid and take home this '62 Thunderbird!

Entrepreneur and civic leader Gene Ponder is known for his collection of universally-admired vintage automobiles. The Garage Mahal Fundraiser to benefit Wiley College on March 16, during the school's 144th Founders Observance, will be the first time this extraordinary collection will be available for viewing by the public.

In addition to displaying the exquisite car collection, Ponder will be auctioning off a vintage red 1962 Ford Thunderbird.  The auction will be opened to the fundraiser attendees, and bidders unable to attend the event will be able to call in.

The fundraiser will be hosted by Ponder and his wife, Patsy, at 6 p.m. at their home in Marshall, Texas.  Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, a tour of Ponder's vintage automobile collection, and networking opportunities.

Tickets to the fundraiser are $250 for individuals and $400 for couples. All proceeds from ticket sales and the car auction will go to Wiley College.
