High school juniors and seniors attending Tabernacle Baptist Christian Academy in Freeport,Bahamas, got a head start on their college careers this past year by taking online courses at Wiley College as part of its College Credit Pilot Program. Nineteen students earned college credit for taking College English I, Algebra I, or Sociology I. 
Students said the work was hard, but that they enjoyed having the opportunity to start their college studies early. "I had a good experience with Wiley College... and I learned a lot," junior Deaja Harvey told the Freeport News. Junior Talea Vega reflected similarly on her experience, telling the newspaper, "It was very challenging, but also very beneficial to me."
