A  contingent of the  A Cappella Choir of Wiley College performed  30-minutes of   pre- concert  music Saturday  night at Belcher Hall in Longview, Texas, just before the Longview Symphony Orchestra's "Passion and Fireworks" concert.   Fifteen members of the choir performed for guests in the lobby of the hall.
The choir's performance was conducted by its choral director,  Mr. Stephen L. Hayes, and it was accompanied on piano by Dr. JuYeon Lee, assistant professor of  music at Wiley College.
"The evening of culture was a great benefit to our students," said Mr. Hayes. "We were delighted to perform, and we had a wonderful evening enjoying the Longview Symphony Orchestra's tremendous performance."
Songs performed by the choir included "Laudate Dominum," "Psalm 57," "For the Beauty of the Earth," "Lord, If I Got My Ticket(Can I Ride?)," and "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho."
Belcher Hall is located on the campus of LeTourneau University.
