Wiley's students, faculty, staff, and alumni worshipped  with pastors from area and regional churches on September 10  as part of their  annual Celebrating the Church Day to recognize the College's  covenant relationship with The United Methodist Church. The Rev. Justin Coleman, Chief Ministry Officer of The United Methodist Church, was the keynote speaker for the worship service.

The special day also marked the first time  the campus family has worshipped together since the  start of the 2015-2016  academic year.  Following the service, the pastors and members of the Wiley family were treated to a special luncheon at Wiley's home church, Ebenezer United Methodist Church, which is located just a few blocks from Wiley, in Marshall, Texas.
