Wiley College is concerned with the total development of students and as such, the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services is organized to provide services and programs consistent with the needs of students and the purpose of the institution. Moreover, the Division promotes the emotional and social adjustments of students as well as their intellectual growth. These services and programs include orientation, general counseling, tutoring, religious life activities, student activities, judicial affairs, health services, career planning and placement, intercollegiate athletics, and the Student Government Association.
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Services provides leadership for the coordination of student development and enrollment services programs. An administrator (Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Services) assists in achieving the mission, goals and objectives. Ten major units within the Division work cooperatively toward this end: Admissions and Recruitment, Athletics, Campus Ministry, Counseling and Career Planning, Financial Aid, Health Services, Residence Life, Student Activities, Student Records and the Student Government Association (SGA). These units, with the exception of the SGA, are staffed by managers who have academic preparation and experience consistent with their administrative assignments. The managers are responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures that are designed to enhance student life.
