Wiley College has an opening for a Director of Organizational Management Program for Spring. The Director will develop and monitor a marketing and recruitment plan for Organizational Management Program, supervise advertising campaign and prepare the promotional literature for the program, maintain working relationship with the Recruitment Office and the Organizational Management Program recruiters to increase the enrollment of the Organizational Management Program students and with the Admissions Office to evaluate and make recommendations about student applications. The Director will examine and streamline the application, qualification, and admission process for new cohort applicants; synchronize offerings of General Education courses that service Organizational Management Program students at the Shreveport, Louisiana site as well as those in the Criminal Justice Administration and the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Education Programs. The Director will also develop and refine the new student orientation program. The Director monitors teacher pedagogical and logistical performance in assigned courses; teaches at least one course per semester/session in the Organizational Management Program; assigns and monitors an academic advisor for each new cohort; develops a degree plan for each student admitted into the program; and assesses student learning outcomes to document institutional effectiveness as well as collaborate with the Dean on the submission of current and timely assessment reports for posting in the TracDat Assessment System. An earned doctorate in Business Administration is preferred along with three to five years experience in academic administration, education and training of adult students, and community relations. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and peers in support of the College’s mission; and experience in cutting-edge uses of information technology to advance learning.
