Aliesha Carruthers — RRAC Player of the Week

WACO, Texas — Wiley College's Aliesha Carruthers of Wiley College was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for the dates Nov. 12-18. She shared the award with Anika Hostos of the University of the Southwest (N.M.). Carruthers, a senior forward from Houston, reached a career high with 34 points at Tougaloo College (Miss.). In 26 minutes of play, she made 14-of-17 shots from the field while collecting six rebounds and five steals. Wiley is off to an 8-1 start on the season with a 3-0 mark in conference play.
