Back to Spotlights | Back to Home Page Fernandez Earns RRAC Co-Player of the Week Award Junior Eduardo Fernandez of Juncos, Puerto Rico, was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Co-Player of the Week for the dates of April 8-15. Fernandez drove in six runs as the Wildcats won two of three games against conference foe Northwood University. He was 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in a 7-5 series opening win, and he added two more homers as Wiley dropped the series finale. For the week, he was 5-of-10 hitting with five runs scored and four homers. Wiley improved to 10-16 in conference play and 14-21 overall with the series win. Fernandez is now ranked ninth in the nation in home runs per game.
