Banks earns RRAC Player of the Week award!

Senior Brittany Smith-Banks of Mesquite, Texas, was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week as well as Wiley Player of the Week for the dates of January 10-16. Smith-Banks led the Lady Wildcats to a 1-1 week averaging 24 points per game. She scored 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and got seven steals in a 68-56 win over University of Southwest. On Saturday, she added 22 points and six boards in a loss to Texas College. Smith-Banks made 20-of-50 shots from the field goal range as Wiley moved to 3-5 in the conference standings and 6-9 on the season.
