Lopez wins back to back RRAC Hitter of the Week Award

Senior Jessica Lopez of Moca, Puerto Rico, was selected as the Wiley Player of the Week as well as back to back Red River Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week for the dates of October 11-17. During the week she was credited with 38 kills in a perfect 3-0 week for the Lady Wildcats. She accounted for 38 kills on 57 total attempts with only six errors for a .561 hitting percentage. Lopez earned 15 kills and nine digs against Huston-Tillotson University and totals of 16 kills and seven digs against St. Thomas University. Wiley is currently the hottest team in the conference with four straight wins and is third in the RRAC standings at 6-3 with an overall record of 14-7.
