Burbano earns RRAC Setter of the Week Award

Junior Eileen Burbano of Cali, Colombia, was selected as the Wiley Player of the Week as well as Red River Athletic Conference Setter of the Week for the dates of September 26-October 3. Burbano is the setter for the Lady Wildcats and also the reigning Wiley Female Athlete of the Year. During the week she helped Wiley dominate conference rival Texas College in three sets (3-0) as she provided 39 assists for the Lady Wildcats. Burbano also had four kills and four digs in the game. Wiley is now 10-6 overall and 3-2 in conference play as they look to continue their win streak against this Friday against Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m.
