Diaz earns Wiley Player of the Week Honors

Freshman sensation Ingrid Diaz of Cali, Colombia, was selected as the Wiley Player of the Week for the dates of August 22-29. Diaz attended Carlos Holguin Mallarino High School and played her first game as a Lady Wildcat during last weekend’s Oklahoma City University Classic, helping her team achieve a 3-1 record. The Lady Wildcats’ fell to College of the Ozarks in three sets but stormed back to win three straight games over Oklahoma City University, Dallas Christian and Oklahoma Wesleyan, where Diaz led the team with 53 kills.
